Ok, so I didn't want to bitch about this, but find myself more and more irritated. My father didn't call for my birthday. Not really that big a deal, except I have counted....and I have more than 20 birthdays kept in my head!! He can't remember 4. He has 4 children who wouldn't mind a call on their birthdays. 4 versus the 20+ is irritating me. Not to mention, I don't have a cell, so I have an ass load of phone numbers in this head too!
Ok, think I am done now.
When I went through this with my Mum, I decided one time to ring her instead and say "I´m just ringing to give you the chance to wish me happy birthday, ´cos I realise you´ve forgotten". I felt much better for it, rather than stew on it.
